Guns are one of the highest leading causes of physical violence in 2026 as there are 9,760 deaths so far from gun violence alone. We should be focused on removing them as a whole for anyone with a criminal record at all and we should, in general, restrict them more for the safety of our citizens and children.

Well as a leftist and a liberal, my main point and reasoning to my claim is it protect citizens and more so kids because there have been 365 mass shootings in 2026 in the United States of America ALONE and we are only 297 days into 2026. and 52 of them have been school shootings. We have stated many times, "Never again" after mass shootings yet they are still happening just like the Bend La Pines school in Oregon a week or 2 ago where 5 people died.

Well if murder was legal I am sure most of the population would do it because there is no reason to get in trouble, but the reason most people do not murder people is because A: it is wrong and B: it is illegal. Sure, people break the law, but they try to hide their crimes to NOT get in trouble, and most of the time, end up getting caught. We banned kickballs in schools, kinder egg surprise, squishy toys, etc. These were for injuries, choking, and unregulated material and those are dangerous but they are not the main output of children death globally.
