Look at Boaty McBoatface: in 2016, Britain's NERC let the public name a polar research vessel, and the silly entry pulled over 124,000 votes, beating every serious suggestion. That name is now a real submersible doing real science, and it got more press for ocean research than any sober alternative would have. So "poopsalotofpee" isn't noise. Names like this are sticky, they spread, and they carry whatever you attach them to further than a dignified label ever would. My opponent will call it childish; I call it the cheapest distribution channel ever invented.
