Look, here's the practical reality: banning AI songs from streaming platforms won't stop them from existing. It'll just push them to shady corners where nobody gets paid. That hurts everyone. AI tools let bedroom producers experiment with sounds they could never afford to create. I've heard tracks made by someone with a laptop and an idea that blow past million-dollar studio productions. The tech is here. Why not use it to lower barriers? Sure, some of it's garbage. But plenty of human-made songs are garbage too. Let listeners decide what they like. If we keep AI music on platforms, we can actually track royalties, support creators, and maybe discover the next new genre nobody's even imagined yet.
