Yeah they should as the artist is no more and someone needs to complete his work as it was not his choice even to die unprecendtly

Imagine a painter dies with a canvas half finished. Then a studio uses AI to fill in the rest, and suddenly those brushstrokes aren't theirs anymore. I just feel like that's not honoring the artist, it's putting words in their mouth they never actually said.

but it saved the half painting from going in waste ! in the paintings case the half painting would be symbolic but for voice dubs in animated movies ai is the best .

Picture a musician leaving behind just a few demo tracks. A studio finishes them with AI, and now fans think that's the artist's real vision. I get that the artist didn't choose to die, that's a fair point. But I still feel like it's pretending they said something they never did, and that bothers me.

Now i think that studios should just stop the production in the respect of there dead artist you good i loose not becuase you had a point but because i was against my own choices

Voice dubs do feel different, I'll give you that. But even then, it's like the character's voice is suddenly not the person who originally performed it. Maybe it saves the work, but I still think something important gets lost when AI fills in for a real artist. I just can't shake that.
