Look at smaller college sports, where paying football and basketball players could push schools to cut wrestling or swimming to balance budgets. I just feel like college sports are supposed to be about school, not salaries. I am not sure how to argue it beyond that.

If football and basketball get salaries the money has to come from somewhere so smaller sports could get cut. My opponent might have a fair point I just can't argue it well. I still feel college sports should be about school.
