Like, really, the motion says, does social media spread good values, not does your cousin find a good account of LGBTQ plus people. Excuse me, but this is out of the speech. The speaker is asking us to believe that social media spreads good values because of your cousin found an LGBTQ plus community online. But let's think for a moment. Whether the community was LGBTQ plus, a football fan club, a cocaine group, or a chess club changes absolutely nothing. The identify if the community is the question people ask. Emotions is does social media spread good values or broke. One person's story cannot answer their questions. If one positive experience was enough, then one negative experience could also be enough to prove the opposite. That's not evidence. That's an anecdote. Meanwhile, millions of people deal with cyberbullying, fake news, scams, only predators, hate speech, and adduction every single day. Those are widespread problems, not isolated stories. My Appearments wants us to judge the entire ocean after looking at one drop of water. A touching story may win sympathy, but sympathy is not proof. In a debate, we need facts, patterns and evidence, not emotional expectations and not your cousin's life. Thank you.
