Should editing human embryos be allowed?

Editing human embryos should not be allowed because of the dangers such as losing old survival instincts which helped us power through ages such as the ice age and when editing embryos it could alter the genetics and be deformed or have other health problems in the future

Imagine a couple who pays to fix a gene in their embryo, and the edit backfires, leaving their child with something worse. We think we can control these changes, but we're messing with something we barely understand. Is it worth rolling those dice on a tiny human who never had a choice?
