I think the real question is whether school is about avoiding phones or learning to handle them. A ban feels like the easy way out, and I just think kids need practice with distractions instead of pretending phones do not exist. I am not sure how to argue it better.
It's closed on Ben phones then the students there's a high likely chance that the students will ask AI to do it their assignments or any other homework that the teacher gives and even if the phones arent banned and the school somehow teaches them to get used to those distractions it will not work because most of the students are still going to look at their phones so while school is a place to learn and study they should also act like it and stop using their phone for those and after school they can go home and then use their phone all they want without getting lectured or anything so I think that they the phones should be bent at school and can be
Imagine a student walking between classes needing to check a shared schedule or text a parent about pickup. My opponent makes a fair point about cheating, and I am not sure how to answer that. But banning phones still feels wrong to me.
