And with that payment range and with the amount of people listening to their music, they can help provide them more income and they can get successful and have more support on their career as a music artist thanks to the fair payment

Meanwhile, the platform keeps about 30% of revenue, and major labels take another cut. So by the time that penny reaches the actual creator, it's practically nothing. The model is fundamentally broken. It treats music like a utility—pay a flat fee, consume endlessly—but the cost of creating music hasn't dropped. Recording, mixing, mastering, promotion—those still cost real money. The payout structure is designed to benefit the platform's growth, not the artist's survival. Fairness would mean compensating artists proportionally to how much their work is actually valued. Right now, a single passive listen generates the same revenue as a fan's hundredth deep dive. That's not fair. That's just math that favors volume over value.
