Youth sports are now paid to win is the question that I agree with and that I will be discussing with today. Youth sport is sports for people that are young and for them hoping to make it bigger in the future. How do you become big in the future? You become big in the future through training, through coaching, and through a healthy diet. Now, who can afford this? Can the poor people afford it? Most definitely not in most cases. In most cases, that is not true. Now, if we look back in history, poor people could have succeeded. We look at people like David Beckham, who were from a working class family. He managed to make it big. We look at people like George Best, Luther Maltrichs. He was in poverty and he survived the war. Same as Edin Dzeko a football legend from Bosnia he also survived the war in Bosnia So at the time if you didn necessarily have the money you could succeed Neymar, Merci, we give so many examples because at the time, sports in general was more about This is a spoken debate about the fact that he is a spoken debate about the fact that he is a good thing about the fact that he is a good thing. George Best, he was known to be a bit of an alcoholic. Same thing there. Your physicality didn't mean a great lot at the time in sports. Maybe in sports like running, wrestling, but now still far less than you think. However, now, sports rely more on physicality. And you just see the cost. Gym membership, a healthy diet, physiologist if you're injured, healthcare costs, coaching, etc. This makes it much more inaccessible for people to become pro in youth sports.
