Politicians already get enough money per year they don’t need to do more for money. They also focus better in politics and laws then economics in most cases so why focus on stocks and work on them when they can support them by some one else running the stocks. So yes they should be banned because it’s pushing what they studied for and peoples specific jobs that are meant for helping build stocks. Not to mention it would be a stress workload which politicians are stressed enough with a capital and negotiating a bunch in society why side quest another stressful job. I beleive in one serious deal and an easy deal for management.

If it backfires in reality then why should we let it happen? We can easily make better security to ensure they focus on one thing and not both political parties or trades because there are reasons theirs multiple different types of job roles. Like criminal law and a prosecutor both work on criminal cases but different performance and goal of your job it can go like that if and when we have a system made for the distraction which can be easily made casually

If it doesn’t stop trades it can stop trades with politics clients as they can’t have any connections to their clients until later and like I said abt the stress to the doing both it’ll overwhelm your self quickly and make u drained enough to get ride of stocks and prioritize a more profitable job then stocks so it will go away either way just slowly so it’s better then not changing and going away either way
