EnviroChamp's monero nightmare is a cash nightmare wearing a hoodie. A sanctioned donor can stuff a duffel bag with hundreds and hand it to a shell company, and no ledger blinks. Crypto at least leaves a public trail for the compliant part. So "regulate it like cash" is backwards: cash reporting rules exist because cash is blind, and blindfolding a transparent rail only helps dark money. Cap it, report it, ban foreign actors, yes. Mining's energy bill is real, but that's a grid fight, not a ballot-box loophole. Regulate the transaction, not the technology.
