Why should someone pay a yearly fee just to move data they already own? It feels like charging people to unlock their own stuff, and that rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like a rip off to me.

Yeah but with the amount of technology and intricate time put into making these possible , most probably without any funding seems like the real rip off , so paying such an amount that too once every year for your health does seem valid
The makers need to feed families too

A yearly fee just to sync data someone already owns still feels wrong to me. My opponent makes a fair point about companies needing money, and I’m honestly not sure how to argue back. It just still feels like a rip off.

Anything made free isnt really valued by humans , if its free to check your health data then people wouldn't really give it the value it deserves so this is also a priority part

The practical consequence is that someone who already bought the device keeps paying extra just to move data they generated, so they might give up on syncing altogether. My opponent makes a fair point about value, but I still think it feels like a rip off.

People already spent hundreds of money on hospital bills and gym and what not so if this is really important to them then the amount may not seem as such a burden
With all the marketing scams and ads of products to be healthy this one seems like a real deal
