I think the real question isn't whether money buys comfort, but whether it buys the feeling that life matters. Money can solve problems for a while, yet someone with enough can still feel empty. I can't argue it better, but that gut feeling makes me doubt money is happiness.

Imagine someone who can pay every bill easily but still dreads waking up; the money removes stress but not the emptiness. My opponent is right that money matters for basics, and I am not sure how to argue past that. It still feels like happiness is something else.

my question to u is would u be happy with 1k salary monthly where u can't even fulfill ur basic needs u hv problems and everything would u still be happy huhh people says that the mother love is unconditional and fair nothing can buy a mother's love only the thing we can't buy with money is mothers love but if we see it practically mother's love is selfish too if we see the 2 person if the 1 person earning is far much better than the next person the mother will always support the person who earns more money cuz why the person who is earning more money is giving what she wants helping the family needs and its very real also we can see this on society specifically on middle class families

A surprising fact is that lottery winners often end up no happier after the glow fades, which makes me think money is not the thing itself. My opponent’s point about comfort is fair, and I honestly can't argue past it well. It still feels like happiness is something money can't reach.
