The rapid rise of the early church, despite severe persecution, demands an explanation.

In order to refute the assumption that faith in God is simply a blind jump, one should consider the notions of design and information. Imagine a complicated device such as a smartphone. It is unlikely that when you examine it, you will conclude that its components have spontaneously formed because it is impossible to feel the presence of an engineer through physical contact. The presence of sophisticated coding and design clearly reveals an intelligent mind. In the same way, nature works in large scale. DNA, the program contained in all living creatures, is written using a specific four-character code determining biological processes. Everywhere else in human life, complicated coding and information systems appear as results of the activity of a conscious being, not chaos. By combining the sophisticated coding in DNA and natural laws of the world, it becomes clear that identifying an intelligent source is not an act of faith; it is a reasonable inference drawn according to our experience in assessing evidence.
