First let's define how one should be paid in the sports industry, the fundamental way one pulls money is if they bring in demand, if college sports are bringing in an audience for regular games similar to that of professional play than by all means college athletes should be paid because once visitors end up watching college games, it becomes a part of the sporting business where team managers and players are employees that have to be paid for they are the reason visitors come for these games, regardless of status and professional play, because visitors are paying money to watch college games to see college athletes, it would only be right for these college athletes to be paid for they are the ones bringing in the crowd.
