Though art is an expression of that is uniquely human, for studios it is a product. If they have legal right, as long as they are not disengenuous and dont attempt to present this as true to the vision of the artist, there is no moral reason to deny them that choice.

The most practical problem is that once you let AI fill in a dead artist's work, you’ll never know where their vision ends and the machine begins. That doesn’t honor anyone; it just creates a confusing fake that gets sold as the real thing. Better to leave it unfinished than pretend we know what they wanted.
