Athletes maintain every right to protest during games as per the average citizen does and the fact that it is in game should not affect whether or not they can protest since they ARE still people with free speech unless my opposition is against free speech.

Then let us take an example case scenario. If two countries are competing internationally and those two teams are to represent their countries, then they should maintain the right, to speak their mind on said issues given that it is not hate speech which would be in violation of the law depending on the country and state. A political message is something anyone therefore, should be permitted to present.

The principle BEHIND the law of free speech IS in good faith to prevent the rise of tyranny. Now as individuals I maintain that we retain the right, to free speech whether we are in a stadium OR any location. My case remains the same, that free speech IS free speech and restrictions on the right TO free speech IS NOT the nation the PRINCIPLE of free speech encourages and envisions. I rest my case.
