According to the dictionary, Cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual money that uses code and a shared public record called a blockchain to keep deals safe. It works without banks or central governments. Crypto by itself cannot influence the results of sport, like other bussinesses like sport betting can do, therefore causing corruption, as it has no direct implication in sports.

We truly believe that we should focus on higher problems such as the gambling sponsorship problems rather than crypto as this has a much greater and a worse impact on everyone's lives as this is a major phenomenon in almost every country. You are arguing that this marketing teaches children's meme coins are a path. However, all the major cryptocurrency platforms require you to be over 18 in order to trade or buy crypto. So your argument instantly fails as we have restrictions in order for kids not to access these websites therefore the only people accessing these websites are adults. For my next part, I would like to focus on the positive impact of crypto sponsorships in sports. Based on an article from sportspro.com, there were more than 565 million dollars spent by crypto brands promoting their product in one year. Don't you think that this money will help the teams promoted develop their team and their equipement and so on even more, therefore making up for a better sports experience for the players and also for the spectators?

To conclude my argument, crypto sponsorships does not corrupt professional sports because, first of all, they are already corrupt. And second out of all, they do not influence the teams as much as other harmful sponsors do. Cryptocurrency has already started to replace gambling, which is far better as people do not see cryptocurrency as gambling as they do with casinos. We also know that these cryptocurrency websites are regulated just as casinos are. The main reason why there are so many sports teams with casino sponsorships is because they pay so good but, because crypto is rising and they can afford to make very, very large contracts, casinos' sponsorships will soon disappear, which will be a big improvement for everyone as we already agreed.
