Abortion should be legally available and classified as healthcare because taking in the family values, cultural values, and taking in many other aspects of how a woman can get pregnant unwillingly or unwillingly, they need abortion as healthcare to ensure that they don't ruin their own life over a life they don't want. First of all, many people view a fetus as a person already before it has been born, which is twisted because a person is shaped by experiences, feelings and beliefs while the fetus who hasn’t even been born yet is classified as a human. Now taking in how a women gets pregnant because in many circumstances she has gotten unwillingly pregnant like rape or sexual assault. Fianaciak needs for a baby can be hard for a single mom sttrughuling with an abusive relationship. Family pressure is also a huge role, telling the daughter to marry nice, have kids AND be successful is very common and a a factor that induces stress on the woman, a pregnancy can disrupt a woman’s education or ability to continue or keep her job as taking care of a child needs extensive care.

How do you Classify a life? If you consider an unborn fetus as a life form a medical standout you are right, it is classified a life. But what about the woman, the woman who has to go through the pregnancy. About 9/10 women face a tear in the vagina going and it can severe. A lot of woman face a lot of hardships. They may have gotten pregnant by force of sex. They may be facing finaicls probelms. Do you think it’s better if a women, goes thru nine months of labor, then has a baby but ultimately cannot support it! She can’t support it because of financial issues or mental health problems or family issues or she can’t continue her job! A child takes care, a lot of care. A child need attention 24/7 and while a child is a precious, fragile pure thing. Think about the woman, the woman that has to labor behind the child along with other difficulties. Isn’t it better if we educate our women, our men and th pe world better in terms of this topic.

A doctor killing babies born alive wasn't an anomaly; it was the end result of a system that treats the unborn as disposable tissue. The more we normalize abortion as healthcare, the more we ignore those red flags.
Now, I hear you on rape and financial pressure. Those are real and awful. Nobody wants a woman in that position to suffer. But the answer isn't to end a second life. It's to build stronger support systems—adoption, childcare, economic help, mental health services. When we define abortion as healthcare, we make the procedure the easy fix, while ignoring the root causes like poverty and coercion.
You say a fetus isn't a person yet because it lacks experiences. But that's a sliding scale. A newborn lacks many experiences too. Healthcare heals. Abortion doesn't heal; it interrupts a life. Calling it that doesn't change the system it creates.

If abortion is just healthcare, then the moment a woman says she can't afford a baby, the medical answer is a procedure instead of a social answer like paid leave, childcare, or housing support. That's a feedback loop. The easier abortion becomes, the less pressure we put on fixing poverty and coercion. We end up managing the symptom while the root causes grow.
You say we should educate better. Fine. But education cuts both ways. It should include teaching that the unborn is not a competitor with the mother but part of a connected system. Once we define abortion as healthcare, we train doctors and patients to ignore that connection. That's how ethics erode quietly.
