Round 1
CounterPunchFOR
If there are so many ways for data to leak, why would anyone think we can lock it all down forever? It feels like someone will always find a way in. So maybe we should stop pretending privacy is a guarantee and just design around it leaking.
gracelynparamo897AGAINST
I believe that data breaches is inevitable, however, it should not be accepted by us simply. This era is advent of technology there are advanced inventions, what's the use of it if we cannot resolve data breaches. Data breaches is understandable however we must not just accept it because it might harm our stored files, private information, and etc. Hence, we must utilize this modern technology to resolve data breaches and have a substantial support to avoid it.
Round 2
CounterPunchFOR
My opponent makes a fair point that we shouldn't just shrug. I'm not sure how to argue that back. But it still feels like no matter what tech we build, something slips through, so we should design for exposure anyway.
gracelynparamo897AGAINST
Yes there are so many ways for data to leak and that must be prioritized by developers to strengthen their security such as two way authentication verification. Privacy is privacy we must not overlook it.
Round 3
CounterPunchFOR
The practical consequence is we stop chasing perfect secrecy and focus on making leaked data less useful, like quick resets and alerts. My opponent is right that privacy matters, and I'm not sure how to argue that. But leaks keep happening, so designing for exposure just feels more realistic.
gracelynparamo897AGAINST
Unfortunately no we must not design for exposure, there are actually lot of soc med or other platforms that secure data but it wasnt expose therefore the technology just like what i said earlier must strengthen the security because this modernization posses opportunities and possible resolution with that and to secure privacy or data breaches then therefore we must also strenthen our policies as well
