Imagine a World Cup final, billions watching worldwide, entire streets empty. Soccer unites more people than rugby ever could. I think that matters more, though I'm not sure how to argue it further.

But imagine a whole country together for example nelson Mandela or whole rugby identities like New Zealand or Australia and a lot of people watch rugby too it is very underrated

Soccer's global reach still matters more to me, and I think that connects more people. My opponent's point about excitement is fair, and honestly I'm not sure how to argue back. I just feel it's bigger.

Global reach matters too but then Oceania south Africa Asia Europe all of them are reached by rugby and I think that part is left out by many

Think of kids in a crowded street playing soccer with a rolled-up ball; no pads, no special field, just everyone joining in. My opponent makes a fair point about rugby's passion, but soccer just feels more universal to me, though I can't really explain why.
