Let’s clear up the term "for" before we go further. When I say Roblox is for kids, I don’t mean exclusively. I mean the product’s center of gravity is children. A shopping mall has a movie theater and a pharmacy, but if it has a ball pit and a carousel, we call it a family mall. Same logic.
You said it's a platform, not a game, and you're technically right. But that doesn’t help your case. A platform is defined by what dominates it and what it’s optimized for. Roblox’s tools are simplified so young kids can build their own games. The default avatars, the chat filters, the parental controls, the E10+ rating—these are all systems designed around minors. The content skews toward obstacle courses, adopt me, and school roleplays, not mature themes.
Adults are allowed in, sure, but they're guests navigating a kids' space. So yes, Roblox has games for teens and adults. But that doesn't make it "for" them. It makes it tolerant of them.
