The universe has changes and effect and a start known as the big bang a eternal being would have to be omniscient we cant prove the cosmos past our vacuum of space and purpose lives everywhere everything has a cause that exists for instance if you see a peice of wood but you dont know what it is what's it use is or how is works therefore it wouldn't be wood it would be a unclassified object and that goes for literally everything else existing in the universe so using the Arugement you cant prove the cosmos are contingent is impossible to refute or support because cosmos outside of the observable universe are unknown
