Look, if we stretch the idea that misogyny is equally hurtful to men to its logical end, we end up saying the woman being harassed isn't the main victim, the real issue is how it makes men feel bad about their gender. That's backwards. Misogyny targets women for being women. The boss who won't promote her, the online abuse she gets, that harm is hers. Does it create a worse culture for everyone? Sure, vaguely. But if claiming it hurts men equally were true, then the solution becomes about men's feelings, not women's safety. That practically erases the actual victim.
