Solar geoengineering doesn't remove a single ton of carbon dioxide. It just dims the sun while the ocean keeps absorbing CO2 and acidifying, which already threatens coral and shellfish. That's treating a fever by taping over the thermometer. Worse, the moment we stop spraying, temperatures snap back within a decade, and species can't adapt that fast. The other side will say it buys time, and fair enough, but we already have proven tools: renewables, efficiency, and cutting methane. Those actually solve the problem. Dimming the sky just hides it.
