On October 7, several Hamas terrorists broke into Israel's territory which has estimated to kill 1200 people who were celebrating a festival, along with that they were taken captives on which those innocents faced the Hannibal directive from their own side which is estimated to kill around 14 Israeli citizens who were taken hostage. Following this we expected retaliation from Israel which it gave by hunting several Hamas leaders but it was also carpet bombing gaza, killing thousands of innocents. Estimates suggest over 60 thousand people killed in gaza over this conflict which is more than the no. of people died on both sides in India and Pakistan's all wars. One would argue that the hamas terrorists take cover among the citizens that's what causes the civilian casualties. On paper this would look accurate considering to kill enemies israel does not care if civilians get killed as well, which we see in their Hannibal directive. They don't care for their civilians why would they care for another's. But here the evidence supports that the Idf soldiers are directly targetting the gazans regardless if they pose a threat or they are innocent or not, they don't care if their is a enemy among them for them all the gazans are enemy. Israel's leading newspaper published a news article, titled- It's a Killing Field': IDF Soldiers Ordered to Shoot Deliberately at Unarmed Gazans Waiting for Humanitarian Aid. It further stated - IDF officers and soldiers told Haaretz they were ordered to fire at unarmed crowds near food distribution sites in Gaza, even when no threat was present. Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed, prompting the military prosecution to call for a review into possible war crimes. All of this hint at genocide, not abiding of Geneva conventions. For all this reason I state the israel's actions are wrong and morally unjust in its war with Gaza.
