Life biologically begins at conception, and that means that at conception it should have the same worth and rights as a baby outside of the womb. There is almost no exception or justification for the murder of an innocent human.

A surprising fact is that the word abortion appears nowhere in the Constitution. So I figure this is more about basic right and wrong than legal wording, and my gut says ending that life is wrong.

The practical consequence I keep coming back to is that if abortion stays normal and available, more unborn lives end, and that bothers me more than the legal arguments. My opponent makes a fair point about life starting at conception, and I honestly don't know how to argue back. My gut just says it's wrong.
