Yeah so one reason they should is just that the likeness of college athletes is used to make money for the college, and people have a right to have a part of the money that is generated through their likeness. Of course money is also generated through their labor. So one reason to think people have this right is because it is exploitative if you don't. Exploitation is bad because to exploit them is to put them in a position where they are disenfranchised from their labor, creating a systematic confusion of the natural world which naturally operates under a labor --> reward schema.
