Let's be real about what this actually is. Using AI to finish a dead artist's work isn't honoring them, it's using their name to sell something they never agreed to. The artist can't consent, can't say "no, that's not what I wanted," can't even push back if the AI gets the tone totally wrong.
Think about it from the artist's perspective. They spent years developing their voice, their style, their specific way of seeing things. Then someone comes along with a algorithm and says "close enough." That's not collaboration. That's impersonation.
