Can a movement be feminist in intent and misandrist in effect? My opponent lists clean air, equal pay, a livable planet, and those are genuinely good ends. But good ends don't purify bad methods. Take the Duluth model: it presumes men are abusers and women victims, even when facts differ. Utilitarian: male victims get ignored and resources misdirected. Deontological: it denies equal dignity by judging sex, not conduct. Virtue ethics: it breeds contempt. That's why, in practice, parts of feminism can be misandrist. The other side hasn't answered that institutional harm, only the movement's stated ideals.
