Look, I get the moral arguments for veganism, I really do. But let's talk about what happens when you take meat out of everyone's diet without thinking it through. The practical fallout would be massive.
First off, billions of people live in places where you can't grow enough crops year-round. Think about indigenous communities in the Arctic or high-altitude regions. They rely on animals for survival, not because they're cruel, but because kale won't grow in permafrost. Telling them to go vegan isn't ethical, it's elitist.
And then there's the health side. I'm not saying meat is magic, but for many people, especially those with gut issues or nutrient absorption problems, plant-based diets can be really hard to sustain. B12, iron, zinc—these aren't trivial. You can supplement, sure, but that's not the same as getting them from food.
Veganism works great in some contexts, but it's not a one-size-fits-all solution.
