I think that AI generated songs should be allowed on streaming platforms because any music is music. By not allowing AI-generated songs you open the door for a whole world of discrimination.

I think the other side gets wrong that just because AI can make a song, it belongs next to real music. Streaming is supposed to be where artists share stuff they actually felt, and AI kind of skips that whole part. That's just how I see it.

It is hard to define "real music" because that can leave it up to opinion. I know people that don't like rap and consider it not "real music" because there isn't any sort of technique. I love rap personally and find it to be "real form of music" because it was created with intent to be listened to.

I see your point about AI songs pushing out real artists, but I don't see it that way. The people who insert the prompts may have ideas and creativity, but are mute or deaf and can't make the music they crave to make. AI is a way to help them complete that.
