Look, I get the appeal of AI music. It’s cheap, it’s fast, and yeah, it can crank out a catchy tune. But that’s exactly the problem. Allowing AI-generated songs on streaming platforms without limits turns music into fast food. It floods platforms with endless, soulless tracks that push real artists out of the discovery algorithms.
Human musicians pour years into their craft. They feel something and translate it into sound. AI just remixes what’s already popular, feeding off human creativity without adding anything new. If streaming services let that run wild, they’re devaluing the very thing that makes music matter—genuine human expression.
And let’s be real, listeners already struggle to find new artists. Adding thousands of AI tracks per day won’t help. It just makes streaming a louder, messier version of itself. We don’t need more noise. We need to protect the space for actual musicians.
