If a dead artist left something unfinished, using AI to give fans an ending seems better than just locking it away. It might not be perfect, but more art seems nice. I don't really know how to say it better.
so from what i see here you assume some of the only options are ai finishing it or nobody viewing it, but unfinished art can still be shared as a finished piece finishing it with ai might remove the human instinct or human touch in that masterwork its the artist last uncomplete work why is a artifical ending be better than one made by something that meant it with a deeper meaning rather than a botted one?
Doesn't it feel sad to let an unfinished story just disappear forever? My opponent probably has a fair point about respecting what the artist wanted, and I'm not sure how to argue back. Still, AI could give fans some kind of ending, and that seems nice.
why do you keep saying that ai ending seemes nice but who is it nice for who? The artist is not here to approve, you assume that audiences desires is for closure and its more important than the message that the artist wanted to leave behind
The other side maybe thinks an AI ending erases the original, but it could just sit beside it as an extra. Sure, my opponent's point about human touch is fair, and I can't really argue that. Still, an extra ending feels better than nothing.
