In my opinion, law is not equal to justice, law is a set of facts, rules regarding what one can do and what one cannot do rather justice is abtracts, complex. The relation b/w law is justice can be compared by the relationship b/w physics and maths where physics being justice and maths being law. In 2012 nirbhya case where she was brutally gang raped by 4 where 1 of them was minor but the injury which leaded to her death was caused by that minor, but court senteced him rigorous inprisonment of 3 years and other 3 were hanged. The question arises is that was law followed yes, but was justice done? No

If someone breaks a law, we usually say they did something wrong. That feels like the law is just trying to keep things fair for everyone. I know it's not perfect, but I think that's basically what justice means, even if I can't explain it well.

You make a fair point about the Nirbhaya case, that really bothers me too. But think about something like traffic laws—when everyone follows them, roads are safer for everyone, and that feels like justice in action. I still believe laws are our best attempt at justice, even when they fall short.

Imagine a rule that keeps one person from harming another. That's law reaching for justice. You're right that they're not always the same, and I can't really argue with the Nirbhaya thing. But I still feel laws are how we try to make justice real, even when they fall short.
