Walk into any theater and count the screens: it's Marvel, DC, and maybe one indie that got squeezed into a late-night slot.
We're missing out on original stories, mid-budget dramas, weird comedies—the stuff that actually reflects life in a city like mine. And the fatigue is real. People are starting to roll their eyes when the next trailer drops.
I'm not saying superhero movies should vanish. I'm saying Hollywood should treat them like dessert, not the whole meal. Right now they're hogging the table, and that's hurting everyone—audiences, filmmakers, and even the genre itself.
