ai is not only hurting the earth but people who work. Soon people will realize that it is cheaper for ai to do jobs and people will be replaced by ai and be out of jobs.
The other side seems to assume AI only causes problems, but people already use it for boring stuff like sorting and drafting, which frees up time. I am not sure how to argue every angle, but calling the whole thing bad feels too broad to me.
I understand the point that you’re trying to make but work is not supposed to always be fun. There’s gonna have to be boring stuff you’re gonna have to do and AI is not always correct which can cause a lot of problems in the workspace.
I think the other side gets it wrong by treating every new tool as automatically bad, though I will admit their job worry is fair and I am not sure how to answer it. Some dull tasks can just be handed off, so calling it all bad feels too broad to me.
ai affects more than just the work environment. It also affects our earth and a water supply. I think the cons outweigh the pros and that the loss of jobs. The loss of water and increase of global warming can all be limited if we don’t use AI and AI is not essential because we have not used it for many years
A tool being imperfect does not make it bad overall, even though my opponent makes a fair point that mistakes cause problems and I am not sure how to answer that. I just cannot see it as all bad, since useful things often get stuff wrong sometimes.
