ConfidentKingLook at what happened with the Insane Clown Posse and their Juggalo fans. For years, the band cultivated this violent, us-against-the-world mentality, and when their fans started brawling at concerts and getting into gang-related trouble, the FBI literally labeled Juggalos a gang. ICP had to distance themselves and clean things up. That's not a coincidence.
Artists set the tone. They choose the messaging in their lyrics, the imagery, and how they interact with fans. You can't whip people into a frenzy and then act surprised when some of them take it too far. It's like shouting "fire" in a crowded theater and then saying you're not responsible for the stampede.
I'm not saying artists should control every single fan's actions. That's impossible. But they absolutely should face consequences when their platform directly encourages toxic behavior. If you profit from the chaos, you own part of the mess.
