Sure, headline arena shows can cost absurd amounts, and dynamic pricing is a real problem. But "luxury only" means no meaningful cheap option survives. Live music isn't one product; it's tiered. Small venues, standing tickets, festivals, and newer artists who need volume all keep lower price points alive. If arena prices climb too high, fans substitute downward, and artists lose the broad audience that builds careers. So the other side is describing an expensive top end, not an entire market becoming exclusive. The uncomfortable question is: if concerts were truly luxury-only, why do cheap general admission and grassroots gigs keep existing?
