18 is too high. Some people may want to vote at the age of 16. To say the law thinks they are not mature enough is stupid since you can legally have kids at 16. What makes someone mature enough to raise children but not vote?

You just completely failed to address my argument, your saying they aren’t mature enough but legally they can have children. Surely to raise children you must be mature. Also it doesn’t mean that because you are sixteen you have to vote no one forces you. I know many people under 16 who are politically educated and would love to vote. The fact that you can have children at 16 but not marry or vote and you say it’s based on gut feeling and that they are not mature enough is absurd.

Too young to vote but not for kids? As I already said you don’t HAVE to vote it’s just a nice option and if someone wants to they can learn taxes and politics way below 16. Being 2 years older doesnt just magically make them mature. This should be based on logic and reason absolutely not gut feelings. Someone aged 15 may be more politically educated than someone 19 it’s not based on age but on how much someone is educated on the topic and it’s a nice option for if they’d like to vote.
