No, of course not! Streaming platoforms have already lost the charm of television- by eternalising content. Series that once came on TV with a new episode an hour each day, became a part of people's lives. It created the essence of hope and aniticipation, all while drawing back to a familiar background. Moreover, each episode was viewed with an eye for details, as audience wished to soak in every last bit of the airing. When shows are available for a binge watch, majority of the viewers do not notice the minor details, never really embracing the true charm of the creation. Furthermore, it creates suspense and excitment in the audience, which leaves room for shows to launch merchandise and organise events for the show. In a nutshell, viewers can get more invested in shows, if there is spacing between two seasons. Thus, by spacing the release of seasons, viewer get time to reflect on the show, and feel emotions similar to when they watched the television, whilst enjoying the perks of streaming services.
