First, asserting that I claimed environment is the only factor is a strawman. The debate is about which force primarily drives human behavior, not whether biological mechanisms exist.
Second, redefining every single human action, whether reproducing, terminating a pregnancy, executing someone, or dying as an act of biological fitness creates a tautological trap: if every behavior, good or bad, evolutionary or self destructive, is labeled 'itness, the term loses all explanatory power.
Conflating involuntary cellular apoptosis with conscious human choice misses the fundamental difference between automated biology and nurture. A cell undergoing apoptosis is executing a hardwired chemical reflex. A human undertaking a lifelong vow of celibacy, entering a hunger strike for an abstract political ideology, or choosing voluntary childlessness in an age of material abundance is making a learned, conscious choice that permanently destroys their personal reproductive fitness. Cells don't abstain from replication due to belief systems, humans do. Biology gives us the neural instinct to survive, but nurture gives us the ideological framework to override it.
