After two years of hormone therapy, a study in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found trans women still retained significantly higher muscle mass, grip strength, and hemoglobin levels than cisgender women. That's not speculation, that's measured data on athletes who've already medically transitioned. The advantages don't fully close. Women's sports exist as a separate category precisely because those physical differences determine outcomes, medals, and scholarships. I understand identity matters deeply, but so does the competition itself. If we erase that biological boundary, we aren't being inclusive, we're removing the only fair playing field female athletes actually get.
