I believe it is, because even though part of it is singing and dancing they still play an actual ball game with actual rules and regulations with points counting. Even Jesse Cole who owns banana ball says that it is a real sport and the players are real athletes because the game is not scripted. Of course, the dancing and singing is scripted but the actual game is real baseball
