The technological society is hurting the humans mentally and physically humans are destroying culture and replacing it with ai they do not go to humans to confess their problems instead they use an ai assistant they think parks are boring theyre getting easier to brainwash by politicans they accept more outrageous stuff they are more ignorant than ever and i knwo this might be overgeneralised but theyrely on technology too much and think that is normal my argument is for humans to return to nature and wipe all technology
Isn't it kind of cool that technology gives us endless stuff to try? I mean, sure, scrolling can get dull, but I feel like it also opens doors for hobbies or learning. Maybe boring people get bored, not the tools themselves.
Ted kaczynski included this in his manifesto - technology brings false power processes theyre mere replacements of hunting, gathering, chatting and anything we used to do back in the stone age your argument is wrong because the tools are made to capture the human primal brain and squeeze the juice out of it
Maybe you're right that we lean on tech too much. Still, lots of people use it to connect or make stuff, so I don't think the tools are what make life boring. I can't really argue deeper, but that's my gut.
The fact you cant argue deeper makes it likely that i am right we humans made stuff regardeless of if we had technology and as of right now because tiktok and other social media replace the "connections" we had in primal age we only think we are connecting while we are actually further away than ever
Isn't it mostly what we make of it? Okay, the primal brain point sounds fair, and I don't really know how to argue back. I still feel tech can help someone find meaning, even if some apps are junk.
