College students bring in so much money to these colleges that are already expensive. They deserve a cut from the money they give out especially in college when they can barley afford books!

Think about a kid on a full-ride scholarship who already gets free tuition and housing. That seems like a pretty good deal already, so I'm not sure why they'd need cash on top of it. I don't really know how to argue this better.

Many of these athletes won't even make it pro. This is their whole career. And to bring and drive in billions for the school and get nothing is redicilous! You can say the same thing about the schools that charge thousands for one small class that teachers barley teach. They overcharge books, supplies, dorms, food, parking ect and on top of that athletes too?????

I get that colleges make a ton and students are broke, that's a fair point. But imagine a regular student paying full price while athletes get free school. It just feels like they already get something most people don't. I can't really argue it better.

But isn't free tuition already the cut they're getting? I get that schools make a lot and books cost too much, that's fair, but it still seems like athletes get a big benefit other students don't. I don't know how to say it better than that.
