How can a society call itself inclusive when buying bread requires a bank account, a smartphone, and a working network? That's my core objection. Cash works during outages, for people without banks, and without leaving a permanent record of every purchase. Sweden's central bank has itself warned about cashless exclusion and contingency risks. The other side may praise convenience, and that's fair, but convenience for the banked majority shouldn't come at the cost of resilience and basic access. A cashless society concentrates power and fragility in exactly the systems we can least afford to fail.
