I believe that social media doesn't do more harm than good. Why? Because first of all, let's start with the cons in my statement. I understand that social media has brought upon cyberbullying and superlative, unrealistic standards to our society, which has built it negatively to now. But we should also remember how social media helped society. For example, it brought more light to marginalized groups. Social media is the reason why Gaza or the war in Gaza is getting the traction it needs. Also, social media is the reason why a lot of cases are brought to light instead of just being there.

I think the biggest practical problem is how much time social media quietly eats up and how it leaves people comparing themselves to everyone else. Maybe there are good parts, but it feels like a lot of folks end up feeling worse and keep scrolling anyway. I am not sure how to fix that.
