If a college athlete who is balancing school and athletics and can still perform at a top level for the people of our country and the world just like the professionals who get paid profound amounts of money. Should they not be paid for the work that they are doing. They balance the life of wanting to get an education as well as putting on a show for the people to enjoy. The professionals do the exact same thing and get paid for it. They also tend to experience more injuries as some of them don't have the proper medical staff so they are risking even more just to put on a show for us people. Thus them getting paid is not just something that should happen but also a pure moral truth.

First off just saying it feel wrong to you does not make it wrong. These kids do school which on its own is a job as well as compete at one of the highest levels in all of sports. They are balancing two jobs while most get paid for doing one.

I never said its the same as being a pro, just that its balancing two different jobs, school and sports. And you cant base an argument off of a feeling.
